Have you ever wondered what a cloud would taste like? At the Milk train cafe in London, UK you can finally find out. Rich soft serve ice cream is presented to you on a cotton candy cloud and topped with lovely sugary sprinkles shaped like hearts. It may look like a cloud, but it tastes like sunshine.

At the Devon cafe in Surrey Hills, Australia, visitors are invited to lose themselves in fairyland with this superb sugary open sandwich. Bread topped with rainbow sprinkles, ice cream, and strands of pixie pink cotton candy. Bad for you, but oh so good for your Instagram followers.

The Buddha bowl is perfect proof that not every Instagram sensation has to be unhealthy. The crazy and colorful bowl doesn’t just look amazing; it makes you feel amazing, too. Quinoa, kale, carrots, spinach and of course avocado all combine to make a nutritious and delicious dish worthy of a place on your timeline.

The avocado artistry on display at Amsterdam’s The Avocado Show is second to none. The countries biggest viral restaurant sensation in years is making serious waves around the world, and one look at the Avo garden is explanation enough. Founder Ron Simpson says: ’Avocado is like healthy Nutella, it doesn’t need an explanation.’

It’s not easy being green, but Cha Cha Matcha in New York does make it very easy to like green. While far from the only emerald endeavour on their menu, matcha soft serve is the most eminently Instagrammable creation. It looks fantastic, tastes great, and it’s not even bad for you. What more could you possibly want?

Instagram-fever has spread to the venerable sandwich spread with the creation of mermaid toast. Although it may look sickly sweet and sparkly, most mermaid toast is actually made from a cream cheese base and a variety of different vegetables for the crazy colors. That’s not to say it’s exactly healthy, but it might not be what you expect.

Those looking to go to infinity and beyond can start their journey in a donut shop carrying these sugary star spangled treats. Donuts seem to be the vehicle of choice for interstellar exploration that doesn’t require leaving earth, as many bakeries the world over are getting on board with the galaxy donut.

This alluring onyx colored creation feels like a pretty paradox. On the one hand it looks like the bottom of a barbecue, while on the other it tastes like a coconut dream. If the goal of charcoal ice cream was to create the anti-Instagram dish, it failed miserably. The inky soft serve has spawned a movement of its own on Instagram.

If there is a better concoction for making you feel like you’re six years old again than a freakshake, we have yet to find it. Perhaps the most over the top delectable drink on this list, freakshakes combine everything the kid inside you craves into a single towering caloric apocalypse. It’s hard to not feel guilty getting this, but it is so worth it.
